Scholemoor and Lidget Green Big Local Partnership
A new partnership is being organised to be led by residents in the Scholemoor and Lidget Green area. A 'community board' made up of local residents will steer the use of the �1 million award to the area, based on widespread consultation.
Residents were recently invited to apply for a position on the board and an interview process was carried out. The new board is now up and running. If you would like to speak to someone about the project you can contact:

Greenmoor Big Local Grants Programme
GreenMoor Big Local Community Partnership Board is inviting applications from local voluntary and community organisations, based in the Big Local area (or on its boarders- see map on application form) for projects that are within the following priorities:
a) Activities Involving older people
b) Investing in children and young people
c) Promote a cleaner, greener environment;
d) Contributing to community life (stronger and safer communities)
e) Activities to promote Health and Wellbeing
f) Training projects for local people (volunteers)
The Grants Programme is designed to enable organisations working in the Scholemoor and Lidget Green area to support projects that improve the quality of life for local people. It may fund, for example, worker time, activity costs, venue hire, and a contribution to overheads.
Grants from �500 to �1000 are available per organisation and the grant must be spent by the end of December 2013. The closing date for receipt of applications is 12.00 noon, 11 November 2014.
