About the Assembly Steering Group

The Assembly Steering Group is tasked with providing guidance, support and advice around the strategic development of Bradford District Assembly.

The Steering Group has various responsibilities including:

  • the promotion and development of the Assembly and its work
  • the identification of local priorities for the voluntary and community sector and for the Assembly and forums to address
  • the agreement and implementation of protocols and procedures
  • the production of annual reports, reviews and other documents

The Steering Group consists of:

  • Assembly Chair
  • Assembly Vice Chair
  • The Chair from each thematic forum (or nominated representative)
  • Stronger Communities Executive Board VCS Representative
  • Health and Wellbeing Board VCS Representative
  • Infrastructure Support Organisations Group (ISOG) Representative
  • CNet Chief Executive
  • Assembly Coordinator

Each Forum also has a deputy representative who can attend if required. For a list of current members see the ASG Membership page.

The Steering Group meets approximately every 6-8 weeks at CNet in Bradford. The date of the next Assembly Steering Group can be found on the CNet home page. All meetings are held at CNet.
