Bradford District Assembly

Assembly Steering Group

The Assembly Steering Group is made up of BDA forum chairs, plus other voluntary and community sector partners. Its role is to channel views, issues and information from the forums through to decision-making bodies.

Representatives from the Assembly Steering Group meet with the Council on a regular basis.

During meetings chaired by the Deputy Leader of the Council and Portfolio Holder for Safer and Stronger Communities our members can engage in honest and open debate and problem-solving, using information from the forums and elsewhere.

The meetings, known as the Relationship Management Group, have been taking place since January 2011 and have played a key role in influencing and informing strategic decisions.

The Strategic Planning Group was established to ensure a productive relationship at strategic level between the Clinical Commissioning Groups and the voluntary and community sector in Bradford.

The main purpose is to ensure strategic alignment between these groups, with an emphasis on Accountable Care Systems and new models of care.

The group meets on a monthly basis.
