The HealthNet Sessions - 19 June & 7 July 2009
We have a programme of short information briefings and workshops addressing what we feel are up coming issues for the local Voluntary and Community Health Sector.
New methods of allocating funding will place greater emphasis on marketing yourselves to both commissioners and potential service users, whilst some funding opportunities will also require you to pitch for the contract.
Our two half-day workshops, one focusing on communication and the other on producing a sales pitch, will equip you with the skills needed.
Book for one or for both, but hurry.
Contact Rachel @ Bradford CVS for information and bookings (t: 01274 722772 or e: health@bradfordcvs.org.uk)
Access to good quality accessible information on the latest plans and priorities, local statistics and gaps in provision are all essential in planning new or developing existing services. We have two lunch sessions, the first focuses on the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment identifying the health needs of the district, and the introduction of the new Bradford Health Observatory, a resource for local health intelligence. The second focuses on local care pathways, introducing the approach and demonstrating how VCS organisations can be a provider in the stages of the pathways.
Identifying the Health Needs of the District, 19th June, 12pm – 2pm, venue tbc, lunch provided / Pathways to Care, 7th July, 12pm – 2pm, Mabel Booth Room @ Bradford CVS, lunch provided. Register you interest by contacting Rachel @ Bradford CVS (t: 01274 722772 or e: health@bradfordcvs.org.uk)
