This survey is designed to examine black and minority ethnic (BME) lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) equalities in West Yorkshire. This Needs Assessment is being carried out as part of The BME/LGBT Visibility Project, which aims to raise awareness around the issues faced by BME people who also identify as LGB or T.
The results will be used as evidence in campaigning and lobbying service providers to help improve delivery of those services and to ensure that The Equality Act 2010 is followed when BME/LGBT individuals access any service in the private and voluntary sectors.

It is being coordinated by Equity Partnership in partnership with the West Yorkshire Racial Justice Network. For more information please contact Yasar Amin (BME LGBT Visibility Project Coordinator) at the Equity Partnership: Phone 01274 727759/79 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
